Stephan Evans’ Gallery of Wild Animals

DAN member Stephen Evans is keen to show his artworks to the art audience and fellow artists. Stephen enjoys trying different styles and media, and we can always expect something new from him. This time Stephen shares the group of his paintings of wild animals.

“I have always been interested in large wild animals with a special fondness for large cats, particularly leopards and tigers”, Stephen says. “I have put together a gallery displaying a small selection of some of these incredible creatures painted with soft pastel chalks. It is a wonderful medium to use which I found ideal for my chosen subjects. I enjoyed ‘Painting for Pleasure’ these fascinating animals but I was inspired as well because many are sadly on the verge of extinction.

He continues, “I look forward to sharing some more of my paintings from my wildlife portfolios again. A selection of the range of subjects that I ‘Paint for Pleasure’ can be viewed by visiting www.droitwichartsnetwork/gallery-stephenevans/  ”
