Opportunity to show your artwork in Droitwich library

Droitwich Arts Network invites all individual (fully paid) members and Groups to exhibit their work at Droitwich Library. The exhibition will be part of the ArtsFest 2018 programme and will be held from 29 June until 27 July in the library’s gallery space on the first floor.

The Library has facilities to exhibit artworks that can be fitted on the walls using mirror plates. The available space is approx, 23 linear meters (approx. 75 feet) of wall space. As we wish to have as many members included in the exhibition, the number of artworks is limited to 1 for each individual member and 2 for the groups. If there is a space available, the artists will be invited to submit additional artwork. Approximately 1mof the wall space is planned for each artist, therefore please don’t submit very large artworks. We would like to encourage members to submit new artworks that haven’t been previously exhibited at DAN exhibitions.

Please, label the back of your artwork with your name, title, technique, and price. There is no need to put any labels on the front of the pictures, as all artworks will be uniformly labeled with the information about artist, title, technique, and price.

The works of art exhibited may or may not be for sale. [1]

If you are interested in exhibiting at the Droitwich library, please complete the accompanying application form and return it by email to Tamara Jelača (thaichi2010@gmail.com) or printed copy at Park’s Cafe (4 Victoria Square, Droitwich). Deadline is 10 June 2018.

A clear digital image of submitted artwork is welcome, for the purposes of publicity and catalogue. Droitwich Arts Network will publicise the exhibition to the best of its ability.

[1] 20% VAT is charged on the commission rate of 25%. Items will only be reserved upon the payment of a 25% deposit (full payment on items under £10).  If the sale of that work does not follow due to any circumstances, that deposit remains with the Gallery.  Works will not normally be removed from exhibition until the end of the show.
Sale prices must not be altered during an exhibition.  If any item is removed from sale during an exhibition a sum equal to 23.5% of the asking price must be paid to the county council by the exhibitor.
