Hanbury Hall exhibition 2016 application form

Hanbury Hall exhibition 2016 will be held from 4th until 10th October in the Long Gallery. All full (paid up) DAN members are eligible to submit their applications until 20th September. This year the rules are changed a bit and the number of entries per artist is 4 pictures and the fee is £3 per item. There is possibility to have some pictures in reserve, in the case of the main entry was sold. The browsers will be available for unframed pictures at the fee of 50p per picture. Artists are welcome to bring their cards (printed or handmade) and the fee is £1 for a lot. Additionally there will be some provision of small items (ceramics/ jewellery, etc.). The fees are to be paid on the 3rd October, day of bringing in and setting up the exhibition at Hanbury Hall.

Pictures must have hanging wires or cords securely attached to both sides of the work using D-rings. As numbered stickers will be applied to the works to enable their identification in the catalogue, you may wish to attach a piece of card to the work to hold them.

The number of exhibits this year will be limited to 100. Priority will be given to DAN members who have participated at other events during the year. This may mean that other members may not be able to exhibit as many pictures as they have registered. As Hanbury Hall is such a prestigious venue we are expecting to exhibit high quality works of art.

Stewarding will be needed for each day during the exhibition.  Stewards are expected to contribute at least half of a session (sessions run from 10:30 to 17:00). As in previous year, the competition for the favourite artwork will be open as well as the closing celebration on 10th October at 12pm.
