Exhibitions in October

Droitwich Arts Network has a several venues where artists (payed DAN members) can present their arts. The exhibitions are on for the whole month or for two weeks period, and all venues are in the centre of Droitwich.

The Park’s Café at Victoria Square hosts the exhibition of Claire Hilton until 31 October. Claire is a freelance mixed media artist who works in wide range of techniques – from traditional oils and watercolours to 3D assemblages made from photography and lost & found objects.

Her artworks in the Park’s Café are inspired by Mexican tradition of Dia de los muertos or Day of the dead.  Claire works as a Project Manager/Creative Director of the Art in Minds Foundation.

The Meetbox has always a very busy programme with a plenty of artworks to see and purchase at very affordable prices. Currently, there is an exhibition of wildlife photography by members of Droitwich Camera Club. Also, there is still a chance to take a part in creating Roman mosaics. This is an ongoing project open to all visitors. The Meetbox also holds various arts & crafts workshops for children and adults.
