Exhibition venues 2017

Droitwich Arts Network members have an opportunity to exhibit their works in several venues across the town. Individual members are invited to organise their solo exhibitions, but numerous groups (members of the network) are welcome to display artworks of selected members.

It is possible to show artworks throughout the year at the Droitwich Library. The space is limited to one artist/one artwork. Each artist has booked 2 weeks period and no fee is applied.

Park’s Café is an excellent space for solo exhibitions that accommodates approx. 10 artworks, medium size. It is a very busy place where lots of people come for drinks and lunch, but it is also a place where many of local groups have their meetings. It makes the Park’s Café very popular venue, and one has to be quick to book a few available dates in 2017.

The Button Tree Café has reserved the central wall just for DAN members. The area can accommodate approx. 8 medium size artworks. Please read the guideline about this venue to find out more details.

The Maltstone pub in Cutnall Green is a new venue and it is already booked until June. The space around the pictures is considerable, so if your work is small, you may wish to put several items on a single board to hang. There are 10 hooks plus two small ones from which to hang information about the works. The owners of the Maltstone are quite keen to have more than one artists’ work at a time, so you may wish to submit joint bookings.
