Bob Addy’s artwork in The Button Tree

A self taught local artist Bob Addy exhibiting during March in The Button Tree café. He made a selection of 9 of his acrylic paintings on canvas and pencil drawings, mostly portraits and landscapes, to put on show this time. ‘Wychbold Walk’, ‘Street musician’, ‘Malcolm’ (both acrylic painting and pencil drawing study), ‘Pondering’ and ‘Rutland water’ are just few of the titles.

Peter Hawkins’ two exhibitions in February

Peter Hawkins has his paintings displayed in The Button Tree Cafe (Droitwich High Street) and at Rotary House (Corbett Avenue, near the Lido). At both places Peter’s artwork can be seen until the end of February.

At Rotary House Peter has a selection of three pictures, ‘Kimmeridge Bay’, ‘Boat at the Fleet’ and the newest painting – ‘Dartmouth’.

Rhys Jones moved from Solihull to Droitwich Spa in 2011, having taken early retirement from a career in IT services. Rhys is now a self-employed commercial and family photographer. He undertakes commissions, often for small businesses, and also sells copies of individual images.

Rhys is an active member of the Droitwich Arts Network (DAN). As well as displaying his own work, Rhys takes photographs of DAN activities and local events for social media and the press, utilising his photographs to create interesting stories.

Jacqui Morley-Brooker’s photography in The Button Tree Café

Jacqui Morley Brooker1A freelance photographer Jacqui Morley-Brooker currently has a display at The Button Tree Café in Droitwich throughout October 2015. Jacqui says about her beginnings in photography, “I’ve been interested in photography since I was late teens (long before digital photography was dreamt of) and only progressed into using a DSLR 3 years ago.  In the past year I have started  entering photography competitions and exhibit my work which has been a scary step to start putting my work ‘out there’ for public scrutiny.”
