Droitwich Spa Art Society

Come and join us every first Tuesday in the Month (except January), at 6.30 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. at Rotary House, Corbett Avenue, Droitwich Spa. Members meet to paint and draw together, including at out door events using water colour, pastel, pen and wash, acrylics, and experimenting with new media.

Experienced members are willing to help novice painters with their work. Interactive chats with jokes enhance the evening creating an environment where much work is progressed. There is also an opportunity to exhibit work in public.

The entrance fee each evening is £3 for visitors.

The Droitwich (Elmbridge, Monday) art club

The purpose of the club is to meet to paint and be sociable. Occasionally, when funds allow, the club will have external skilled input (for example, demonstrations and lessons), but will mainly be a self-help group. Modest fees cover the cost of the hire of the hall, electricity and tea/ coffee. The hall is well lit and spacious with large picture windows looking out onto farmland – an idyllic setting.

The club meets at Elmbridge village hall from 9:30 to 12:00 on Monday mornings.

Wednesday Art Class at Elmbridge Village Hall

The Wednesday Art Class meets at Elmbridge Village Hall between 9.30a.m. and 12 noon during term time.   It is tutored by Malcolm Brookes who provides a programme which is intended for all abilities from beginners to experienced students.   The programme is not medium specific and includes watercolour, gouache, acrylic, oils, pastels etc.   It introduces the students to subjects or ways of working which they may not have tried for themselves.   During the Summer Term when weather permits the class works  out in the landscape.
